I am trying to track how many issues are opened each month based on severity which is specified by label. I can’t seem to find a report or filter that will let me see number of issues opened per label per time period. Does anyone know of a way I can do this other than manually counting issues?

We’ve got soooo many reports baked into ZenHub. If you’re using our Cloud Product (zenhub.com), you might get some mileage out of using our Control Point report. You can add your bug label and set the time frame:
Then scroll down and you can see the number of issues that the team worked on in the time period:
